Dr. Solomon is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is especially interested in minimally invasive surgeries with a goal to minimize recovery time for busy women. Dr. Solomon was one of the first robotic surgeons in Tampa and performs in office endometrial ablations for patient convenience. Dr. Solomon is also trained in Botox and Juvederm filler treatments.

Dr. Solomon has been named one of Tampa Bay’s Top Doctors for the past 9 years as published in Metro Magazine. Dr. Solomon has served on the board and committees of several local hospitals. Dr. Solomon is an active volunteer at the Judeo Christian Health Clinic performing free surgeries and providing gynecologic care for women in need. She also serves on the board of the Judeo Christian Clinic. Dr. Solomon participates in the Great American Teach-In which exposes young people to the medical profession.

Born and raised in Tampa, Dr. Solomon graduated from Plant High School. She received her baccalaureate degree from Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania in 1989. During that time, Dr. Solomon studied a semester abroad at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. She received her doctor of medicine from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC in 1993. Dr. Solomon’s residency in obstetrics and gynecology was completed at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD in 1997. She then returned home and has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in the Tampa Bay area since 1997.

Dr. Solomon has three children, a dog and a cat. In her spare time she enjoys boating, biking and barre class.
