Dr. Erica Renee Davenport. M.D. was born and raised in Pasadena, California. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Rhetoric.
Prior to going to medical school, Dr. Erica Davenport, M.D. worked for Kaiser Permanente: Division of Research conducting research on Gestational Diabetes in Oakland, California. After conducting research, she returned to her true love of medicine and attended medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, under the Charles R Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program that fosters the development of physician leaders who will advance medical practice and knowledge in underserved areas. Dr. Erica Davenport, M.D. spent her time improving access to healthcare through community health fairs and student-run clinics. After completing medical school, she trained at the Los Angeles County-USC residency program, where she further developed her love for women’s health while serving some of the most underserved populations in South Los Angeles County.
After completing her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LAC+USC Medical Center, Dr. Erica Davenport, M.D. moved to Las Vegas, NV to pursue more specialized surgical training through the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Dr. Erica Davenport, M.D. has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, cosmetic, and fertility-preserving approaches to chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids. As an OB/GYN and a Minimally Invasive Surgeon, Dr. Erica Davenport, M.D. provides care that decreases post-operative pain, improves recovery, and is cosmetically pleasing.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Erica Davenport, M.D. enjoys spending time hiking, traveling, and reading a good book.
