Dr. Amy Lysy Brandon, FL and at Riverview.
She is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at Women’s Care. She is a certified professional in patient safety and in healthcare quality. Her areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery, LGBTQAI+ care, evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap screening, and treatment of abnormal bleeding. Dr. Lysy is focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered women’s health care and plays an active role in quality and safety.
Dr. Lysy is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, Institute for Healthcare Improvement, GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ Equality and National Association for Healthcare Quality.
Dr. Lysy earned a medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed an ob-gyn residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned an Excellence in Teaching Award. She completed Physician Leadership College at Saint Thomas University – Opus School of Business, and earned a Master of Applied Science in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Dr. Lysy is married with two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys quilting, reading and traveling.
