Jillian Layne, PA-C, is a highly personable, driven, and team-oriented Physician Assistant who is dedicated to providing efficient and patient-focused healthcare with knowledge and compassion.
In May 2019, Jillian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from Florida State University, and in August 2021, she obtained a Master of Medical Sciences from Nova Southeastern University.
She previously worked at North Atlanta Primary Care as a Physician Assistant, where she obtained full medical histories, performed comprehensive physical examinations, provided diagnoses for patients of all ages in the out-patient setting, developed appropriate treatment plans for the management of acute and chronic illnesses and diseases, and counseled patients on diagnoses, medication adherence, side effects and expectations for medical care.
She routinely orders and interprets necessary bloodwork, in-house labs, urinalyses, diagnostic imaging, EKG, and spirometry. She also performs comprehensive preventative care procedures, including pap smears, pelvic/rectal exams, breast exams, and more. She also manages age-appropriate preventative screening measures, collaborates with supervising physicians and peers on clinical diagnosis, works with medical professionals of multiple specialties to provide complex clinical care management, patient education, and counseling, and she participates in on-call services offering patients urgent medical care via phone encounters.
Jillian’s licenses and certifications include Certified Physician Assistant, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and she is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
