Michelle M. Ellis, CNM is a dynamic and focused Certified Nurse Midwife in St. Petersburg, Florida. Originally from Poland, she is bilingual, fluent in Polish and English. She is resourceful and knowledgeable in critical care and leadership skills and adapts quickly to changing environments. She seeks to deliver wholesome and compassionate care to women and their families.
Michelle Ellis obtained an Associate of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Santa Fe College. In May 2021, she was awarded a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Midwifery, at Frontier Nursing University. She is a certified Nursing Assistant, CPR certified, and First Aid Certified.
Michelle has gained relevant professional experience at various medical establishments. She has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, assisting doctors with lab tests, facilitating hospital appointments, and keeping medical records. She has also been a Licensed Practical Nurse responsible for 20 to 28 patients in a shift, administered IV medications, performed care routines, assisted patients and family members, and facilitated the admission and discharge of patients.
She most recently worked as a full-scope Certified Nurse-Midwife contracted through Women’s Health Care to work at Tampa Family Health Center and Tampa General Hospital.
Her certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support for healthcare providers, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. She’s also certified in IUD and Nexplanon insertion.
She likes to spend her free time with her husband and four children, two girls and two boys, who keep them busy! Michelle enjoys creativity and is usually the one crafting or decorating for any special occasions. Together they like to spend time outside and enjoy traveling.

I want my patients to feel like they can be open and transparent with me and actually look forward to their future appointments. She is passionate about her patients and deliver wholesome care to her patients and their families. She looks forward to building a lasting relationship throughout all phases of women’s healthcare.
