Jennifer Gilby, MD FACOG
Please join Bravera Seven Rivers as we welcome Jennifer R Gilby, M.D., FACOG to Bravera Medical Group. Dr. Gilby is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has spent her entire career focusing on Urogynecology and treating patients for incontinence and prolapse both surgically and non-surgically. Dr Gilby is a compassionate and caring physician who is known for her wonderful bedside manner and excellent surgical skills. She strives to provide high quality medical care to her patients. One in three women have urogynecologic problems, yet many wait up to 6 years to seek medical attention. Dr. Gilby wants community physicians to know that their patients can get excellent care for urogynecologic problems in our community now. Referring physicians will receive initial evaluation notes and subsequent follow up progress notes on each patient.
Dr. Gilby completed her medical degree at University of Florida College of Medicine and her OBGYN residency at Tampa General Hospital in University of South Florida Department of OBGYN. While there she was elected Chief Resident in 1999. Dr. Gilby practiced as an OBGYN and specialized in Urogynecology in St Petersburg from 2000-2022. While practicing in St Petersburg, she was voted to Tampa Bay’s Top Doctors yearly since 2012. She has served as Chairman of the Department of OBGYN at St Pete General, Vice Chairman of Department of Surgery at St Anthony’s Hospital. Dr. Gilby has served on the Board of Directors for Pinellas County Medical Society, Women’s Care Florida as well as Physician Business Services which she also served as Chairman of the Board. She is currently a proctor who teaches DaVinci Robotic Surgery around the country.
