Kushna Damallie was born in Nassau, Bahamas and completed his undergraduate studies at Morris Brown College in 1995. He attended Boston University School of Medicine and received his MD in 1999. Dr. Damallie spent four years as a resident in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at East Tennessee State University from 1999 until 2003.
Dr. Damallie has been providing healthcare to women in Clarksdale, Mississippi and its surrounding area since August 2003. Dr. Damallie is an experienced and highly skilled physician with 16 years of experience in the Ob/Gyn field. He performs a wide range of in-office tests including pap smears, pelvic and breast exams, diagnostic lab work, screening mammograms, ultrasounds, cryotherapy, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies. A large portion of Dr. Damallie’s practice is focused on monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. Dr. Damallie also spends a fair amount of time in the operating room, performing both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Dr. Damallie is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
