Dr. Day is a family physician who believes in a patient centered approach that looks at the whole person and cause of illness; not just treating the symptoms. She is interested in how lifestyle and stress affect your well-being and ageing. Her focus is on prevention through exercise, diet, nutrition, supplements, and hormone balance to both prevent and help manage chronic illness. She trained in South Africa where she worked as a family physician for many years. She relocated to Tuscaloosa, AL ten years ago. She is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the AMA and AAFP.
