Dr. Levenson has been practicing medicine in Colorado for more than 25 years. His patients love his intelligence, great sense of humor, deep knowledge and warm, caring manner. After receiving his B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University, he went on to pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University. He then completed his internship and residency in Family Practice at Botsford General Hospital, and obtained his board certification from the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians in 1984.
Dr. Levenson has been an active member of the Colorado medical community, serving in both academic and leadership roles for: the Rose Center for Preventive Medicine, A.T. Still University regional KCOM Dean, Colorado Osteopathic Education Center, the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine, the Denver Regional Osteopathic Medical Society, Colorado ACOFP State Society, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians Committee on Education and Evaluation. Dr. Levenson was awarded Family Physician of the Year by the Colorado chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and is a member and Fellow at the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He belongs to the American Osteopathic Association and the Colorado Medical Society. Dr. Levenson is deeply committed to his family and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include golfing, skiing and cycling. Dr. Levenson also dedicates himself to staying fit as well as promoting the scientific elements of fitness.
