For PatientsDr. Manuel Herrera is a south Texas native with parents from Mexico.
He graduated from Baylor University with a B.S. in Biology and received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center and has been in practice since 1987.
Dr. Herrera has been married to his wife Lucia, with whom he has one daughter, Sofia. In his free time, Dr. Herrera stays active by swimming, doing strenuous gym workouts, and hiking. He also enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures with his wife.
