Dr. Kareen Saunders dedicates her medical practice, The MediSpa & Gynecology in Monroe, New York, to helping women (and men) prevent disease while achieving the best in health, wellness, and beauty.
She originally founded Women’s OB/GYN of Ramapo in 2002 to provide an individualized and comprehensive approach to women’s healthcare. After listening to the needs of her patients, and following the direction of her holistic approach to health, she transitioned to The MediSpa & Gynecology providing additional services to maintain good health and vitality of youth. In keeping with her belief of restoring health while avoiding disease, Preventative health and wellness is now an integral part of her practice with a focus on identifying the underlying causes of what is making people unhealthy and feeling the way they do.
In addition to a full range of gynecologic care, including diagnosis and treatment of various gynecological illnesses including surgery when needed, the state of the art office offers on-site ultrasound, laser hair removal, body contouring, skin resurfacing, vaginal rejuvenation, bio- identical Hormone Replacement Therapy and various types of massage services for therapeutic relief of pain, health maintenance and relaxation.
Dr. Saunders began her career at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center Bronx, New York. She’s on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York and is an affiliate member at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, New York. Dr. Saunders welcomes new patients and clients at The MediSpa & Gynecology, where she looks forward to supporting women of all ages. She feels humbled to make a difference in women’s lives as they journey from preadolescence and puberty through menopause and beyond.
