Dr. Elrod is the Owner and Medical Director of Anchor Restorative Medicine in Irving Texas. He brings many years of experience as a healthcare leader to this role and is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of exceptional care.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, Dr. Elrod moved to California to attend Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduating, he accepted a commission as a Captain in the United States Army and served five years as a Field Surgeon at Madigan Army Medical Center. During that time, he gained experience in family medicine, urgent care, orthopedics, and sports medicine.
Before starting Anchor Restorative Medicine, Dr. Elrod served as a medical director and procedure trainer for one of the largest regenerative medicine companies in the United States. In this role, he was responsible for the treatment of over three thousand individuals while supervising nine medical clinics across Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston Dr. Elrod holds certifications in Healthcare Administration and Management through Benedictine University and The University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and the International Cartilage Regeneration and Joint Preservation Society.
