Dr. Samuel Lederman grew up in South Florida and started practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Palm Beach County in 1991. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Medical School and completed his residency training at the University of Colorado.
In 1993 he established Palm Beach Obstetrics & Gynecology, which has recently partnered with Women’s Care Florida. His group offers a wide range of services with a special emphasis on family-centered obstetrical care, menopause management, family planning and disorders of the female genital tract.
Dr. Lederman was an early adopter of the concept of an electronic medical record. His practice transitioned in 2006, receiving the 2008 National HIMSS Davies Award in Ambulatory Medicine, honoring excellence in the implementation of electronic health records.
Dr. Lederman’s primary focus remains on patient care. He completed training in advanced laparoscopy and the use of the DaVinci Robot. Committed to providing care for the diverse population of Florida, Dr. Lederman has been involved in clinical research for many years and is the Medical Director of Altus Research.
