Alyssa N. Chevalier, APRN is an experienced and driven Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who consistently seeks to advance her skill as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by consistently providing care for patients, families, and fellow staff in a well-rounded professional facility.
Alyssa N. Chevalier became a Licensed Practical Nurse in December 2014. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, Illinois in September 2018 and a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama in December 2022.
Alyssa’s clinical practicum was conducted at Primary Care, Family Care Partners, Fleming Island, where she provided care to patients with acute illnesses and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and gastrointestinal issues, and at Women’s Health, Dr. Hyler & Associates, Middleburg, where she provided care to patients with normal & abnormal pregnancies and observed colposcopies and endometrial biopsies.
Alyssa has several professional experiences as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse, a Registered Nurse Instructor/Coordinator and an OB/GYN Triage Nurse. She previously worked as a Registered Nurse at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, Florida where she serves in OB/GYN, newborn nursery, and postpartum.
Her licenses and certifications include Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers, S.T.A.B.L.E, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Mental Health First Aid (for Adults and Pediatrics), and she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
