Josie L. Tenore, M.D., M.Sc., (“Dr Josie”) is a board-certified family physician and founder of the TREVI Longevity & Aesthetics in Highland Park, IL.
Dr. Josie began her practice with family medicine because she enjoyed the challenge of delivering comprehensive health and well-being to people of all ages. This unique combination of family medicine and aesthetics led her to advocate a program of eating well, exercising and aesthetics for patients who want to have the best quality of life.
Dr. Josie completed her medical training at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada, in 1984. Her belief in continuing education to expand her knowledge and skills led Dr. Josie to receive training in varicose vein treatments in 1986, and chemical peels and skin care in 1988. In 1998, she earned a Master of Science in Public Health from Harvard University. This allowed her to work with world-renowned specialists and offer state-of-the-art medical care to her patients. She has had additional training in Sports Medicine at the University of Toronto, Psychology at the Alfred Adler Institute (University of Chicago) and in Medical Informatics (Northwestern University).
She also has a passion for educating others. Dr. Josie has taught at several medical schools: the University of Toronto (her alma mater); Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island; and Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois and personally educated her team of providers. In addition, she has authored many scientific articles in well-recognized medical journals.
She is a master injection artist and highly experienced in restorative and regenerative medicine as well as weight management and hormone balancing.
Dr. Josie is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, The College of Family Physicians of Canada and The Age Management Medicine Group.
