Joymarie is a certified nurse midwife with Women’s Care, providing obstetrical and gynecological care to patients. Prior to Women’s Care, Joymarie worked as a registered nurse at Baptist Medical Center South, which averages over 2,500 births annually with a Level II NICU. In that role, she provided care in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods as well as newborn care.

Joymarie earned a Master of Science in Nursing/Certified Nurse Midwife from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. Her education was focused on providing midwifery care and included a heavy focused on women’s primary care in efforts to bridge the healthcare gap in communities.
