Carolina Lopes is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certified by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). She has special professional interests in the areas of health and wellness promotion, gynecological preventative care, and uncomplicated and complex gynecologic care management and health education to women of all ages. She has worked in outpatient care, providing gynecology, prenatal care, primary care, sexual and reproductive related health care to patients across gender identities.
Carolina is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Carolina is originally from Brazil and moved to the U.S. at age 16. She is fluent in Portuguese and certified in medical Spanish. She earned a Master of Science in nursing with a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner specialty from Boston College, where she graduated with honors. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Curry College in Milton, Mass.
During her free time, Carolina enjoys traveling the world and spending time with family and friends. She is married to Aaron and a dog mom to Khloe (yorkie) and Chico (chihuahua).
