Stephanie Costa, FNP-C, became interested in bioidentical hormones when she started experiencing symptoms herself. No doctor would listen or even take the time to draw her lab work, saying she was “too young.” Finally, after two years of suffering, she took matters into her own hands and ordered her lab tests.
