Sylvia Siegfried, MD, is an ob-gyn in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Lake Worth. She is a member of Palm Beach Obstetrics & Gynecology, the most innovative practice in Palm Beach County, with three locations to serve women throughout their entire life cycle.
Sylvia Siegfried, MD is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She continues to volunteer in the community and is currently a volunteer physician through Project Access. To help promote the health of her own patients and women everywhere, Sylvia Siegfried, MD, serves as a sub-investigator for Altus Research, which conducts clinical trials in areas of women’s health. To provide multiple options for her patients, she is affiliated with Good Samaritan Medical Center and JFK Medical Center.
Although born in Maryland, Sylvia Siegfried, MD grew up in Miami. While still in high school, she became interested in women’s health and set her sights on a career in medicine. While working toward her BA degree with honors from the University of Florida, she was also an active community volunteer, working with the Red Cross and other community organizations. After graduation in 1996, she went on to the University of Florida College of Medicine and earned her medical degree in 2000. She continued to work as a volunteer at local clinics in Gainesville and traveled to India for a one-month externship. She also became interested in running and participated in her first marathon. After completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida in Tampa she joined the practice at Palm Beach Obstetrics & Gynecology and has continued to serve the community ever since.
Sylvia Siegfried’s, MD, patients report they have a high level of trust in her decisions and that she explains medical conditions well. Sylvia Siegfried, MD, also spends an appropriate amount of time with the patient and listens and answers questions. Sylvia Siegfried, MD, realizes that modern medicine is only part of the answer when it comes to health, and counsels her patients in topics like nutrition as related to issues like fertility, preconception management and pregnancy.
