Zayda Chamorro, MD, earned her medical degree with honors and completed her residency at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School in San Juan. Her passion for chemistry has continued to influence her career. She found teaching undergraduate chemistry majors at the University of Puerto Rico extremely rewarding and continues to research the role of chemistry in the resolution of medical conditions.
